I guess we expected it all to end, since we knew it would come to an end anyway, but now that it has we're all trying to say that we knew it was going to anyway. Where is the logic in this? Self defeating, but I haven't read my zen books lately so shouldn't comment on stuff I don't know anything about.
For those enquiring, we are now staying in Sacramento with Erin's parents while I hunt for a job. In some ways I love the hunt because it reminds me of the good old days when I was a salesman, but on the other hand, it reminds me of all the stuff I hated about being a sales guy: waiting for other people to make up their minds. I don't mind it really because I am learning all kinds of new things about what has been happening in California and technology over the past 2 1/2 years; everyone has a story to tell, even if they're not telling me the story I want to hear.
OK, so my plan for this blog is to keep everyone informed with our re-entry into US society after just getting used to being "Euroized". it is a good story to tell, but now I need a drink, so will resume tomorrow with a clear head.
Atomic Wedgies to One and All.
